To celebrate me getting another year "older & wiser" my mother-in-law took us out to dinner. We chose a BBQ joint in a very small, I mean small town on the way to Big Bear. It was good and fun to try out a new restaurant.

This is the front of the restaurant...

This is the back

On my birthday bright & EARLY, Brandon drove me to the airport to fly to Utah for a family trip to Lake Powell. When I got off the airplane this is who was there to greet me and pick me up.

First stop from the airport was (of course) Cafe Rio for some birthday lunch.

Next stop was Beaver to get some dairy queen and fuel at a new Chevron. I totally recommend it to anyone passing through.

We got some road trip treaties and some mustaches and were on our way. Next stop Lake Powell!

HOME SWEET HOME (well at least for a week)
When we finally made it we continued to celebrate with one of my favorite meals homemade Chicken Roll Up's and rice.

I was even spoiled with gourmet Cupcakes, Presents and an amazing birthday Crown, my mom made for me.

Let the week of PARTYING, EATING, LAUGHING, SWIMMING, & PLAYING begin!

Perfect glassy water = some amazing water skiing

Brenna & I with trying to keep our faces out of the sun.

We stopped for some ice-cream on the way to Rainbow Bridge

I hadn't been to Rainbow bridge since I was little, it was really fun to get to hike around and hear the legend of the bridge.

Lake Powell sun sets are always so bright and beautiful. It was fun to get to watch it go down over the water each night.

Obviously this "Ain't the Rits" Lincoln and Bryce wore themselves out everyday playing as hard as two little 3 year old's possibly could.

Thanks Dad & Mom for a GREAT trip with lots of fun memories and laughs. I can't wait for next year, hopefully Brandon will be there to make it even BETTER.
