Young Women Kickoff

For New Beginnings we had transformed the gym into the Temecula Creek Diner and had our 2010 kickoff. It turned out to be a very fun night filled with a skit, song and ICE CREAM SUNDAE'S!

2 X the Fun

In my family, BIRTHDAY'S are always considered a BIG DEAL. So on January 21st every year we would party like no other! We had a TWICE the CAKE, PRESENTS, FUN, FOOD & PARTIES. My older sister BROOKE now a sophisticated 27 year old and my younger sister BECKY, now a gorgeous 22 year old, SHARE a birthday. You might think it would not be fun to share a birthday because you don't get ALL the attention, however this was NOT the case in our family. JANUARY 21st was always DOUBLE the fun and excitement and although it was NOT MY own birthday, I always looked forward to their joint birthday.

Sorry this picture is BLUE my camera was on the wrong setting.

Becky 22
Brooke 27

Love you both and hope you had fun birthday. I can't wait until we are all back together and can party like the GOOD OLD DAYS.

Happy New Year!

New Years Eve is SO MUCH FUN at the Woolstenhulme's (my parents) house. It just can't be BEAT! We decorated the kitchen and living area full of confetti, balloons, center pieces, hats and streamers. Let the PARTY BEGIN

Mom and Dad start the preparations for the FAMOUS WAFFLE FEST 2009. For probably about 20 years now my parents have made more waffles than IHOP ever has made in one night. There is always a competition who can EAT the most waffles in the night. I never win but I say in the competition for at least a few rounds.
I like starting out the year about 3 pounds heavier. It makes my news years goal of loosing 5 pounds a little easier.

We don't JUST have waffles! There is BACON (need I even go on...), eggs, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, bananas, powdered sugar, WHIPPED CREAM and Magleby's (homemade) Syrup. mmm.... Best FOOD of the year!

Then at midnight everyone BUNDLES up and we light off illegal and legal FIREWORKS until our fingers are frozen. We also do the traditional banging of pots and pans.

Some of the crew huddled together trying to stay warm and watch the fireworks.
Koda, Tommy, Brandon and Beau pose for a "family" photo by the Christmas tree. What a good looking group of boys.
Happy New Year everyone, I hope 2010 brings lots of good memories and happiness.

Week of FUN

Brandon & the group of guys + me, Brittany, Dad and Eli all went to Sundance for an AMAZING POWDER SKI DAY. It was snowing the entire day which made for an extremely fun cold ski trip. We basically skiied every BLACK diamond Sundance had to offer. Nothing beats a being the FIRST person to ski over newly fallen snow.

It snowed all day which made for a COLD lift ride on back mountain.

Brandon & my Dad went for a long horse ride through the mountains. They saw wild turkeys and deer. (I didn't feel too left out because I also saw tons of deer in my parents backyard looking for food).

The worst part about the snow is trying to PARK your car when there is about 4 feet of snow piled up next to the sidewalks. Dad aka "The PLOW KING" quickly solved that problem!

I CAN'T get enough of sledding! As a family we went up to the horse barn and sledded for hours.

After we were all worn out we decided to take some pictures of the sisters.

Lincoln climbed a little hill and was the King of the Mountain. He is so dang CUTE.

The snow was PERFECT for snowman making. After sledding we went into the backyard & made a snowman family. I LOVE building snowmen (and am really good at it, if I do say so myself).

That night we made HOMEMADE PIZZA'S. Brandon has worked at many different pizza places, so he tried to teach us the ART of throwing the dough. Although Brandon was the ONLY one that could do it, we made 7 different kinds as well as 2 gourmet dessert style pizzas. They were fun to TOSS, MAKE & EAT!

Christmas Day

Christmas was such a EVENTFUL day I thought I would dedicate 2 posts to it.
After breakfast and playing with our Christmas gifts some of the family decided to enjoy the White Christmas and go sledding at Rock Canyon park.

ADAM, JOHN and BRANDON

Lincoln can't get enough sledding. He is fearless.
We even got Becky to bundle up and come with us for a little bit.

Look at Brandon go

After Sledding we ENJOYED a beautiful and very tasty Christmas Turkey Dinner! Thanks Mom and Dad for having 2 Thanksgivings so Brandon and I could be there.

And to end an AMAZING Day

Brenna and Eli got ENGAGED!

Christmas Morning

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!

This year Brittany, Adam and kids slept over at Mom's too, it was so fun to see Lincolns reaction to all the stuff Santa brought him.
Santa always does too much but I don't complain!
This is a picture of the Provo Temple where Brandon and I were married.
Both the boys got CLEAR PLAY DVD PLAYERS. Now they can see rated R movies completely edited. Thanks Santa!

I was so spoiled this year with gifts. Thanks everyone for all the fun stuff!
A Gunnies Gift Card! Thanks Jimmy for the awesome gift it is my favorite place to shop. I took 3 trips there over Christmas vacation.
What could possibly be more EXCITING than a SNUGGIE! This picture says it all.

Koda gets so excited every year to open up his stocking. He goes right to it and whines at us until we help him see what surprises Santa brought him.

Santa brought Dad a PING PONG Table.
Christmas breakfast was SO DELICIOUS. John made his Mom's homemade Cinnamon Twists with icing all from SCRATCH, we also had hash browns, eggs, bacon, and fresh hand squeezed orange juice (the oranges were shipped from AZ).

Christmas Vacation

Day 1: Christmas Eve

Brandon and I had to work on Wednesday so we decided to wake up at 2 AM work out (which was dumb) and then be on the road at 4. I guess because we were both so excited to go it actually was not hard at all to wake up so early. After a nice road trip we finally made it just in time for Grandma Grace's Christmas Eve celebration.

The Christmas sweater I found this year at a garage sale was awesome but very itchy so I couldn't stand to wear it for long. I wish I had put it back on for the picture. Becky and Brenna look so festive wearing theirs.

Grandma always gives all the grand kids new p.j.'s every Christmas Eve. I love them a lot this year since they are red I can get a way with wearing them all the way to Valentines Day.
Brandon wouldn't put his on for the picture but he wears his a lot too. Thanks Grandma for a fun party and the cute jammies.

Traditionally after Grandmas party, Brandon and I always drive around Salem pond to look at all the pretty decorated Christmas trees floating in the pond. I look forward to this every year!
