The Prankster

On Sunday we were watching football and I fell asleep on the couch, not really a surprise. I woke up and about an hour later and I was getting ready to go over to some friends house in our ward. Brandon asked me very seriously, "Brianne what is that on your ankle?" I immediately thought there was a bug or spider on my ankle and with some hesitation lifted up my pant leg. When I realized there wasn't a critter on my leg, I saw I had a TOOTH TATTOO. I started laughing so hard, I had no idea that while I was sleeping, Brandon put a temporary tattoo on my ankle. I thought it was so funny, and I wish it would have lasted a little longer.

Church Talk

In church they finally tracked me down and ask me the dreaded...Will you speak in church this coming Sunday? I'm just kidding, I have had to speak in church so many times that I don't mind it anymore at all. The topic I was assigned was on the importance of our baptismal covenants. I am grateful for the opportunity I had to study scriptures and talks on baptism as well as reflect on my own baptism.

Resolution Race 09'

The first weekend in January we went to San Diego and stayed the night at Brandon's brother Josh's house. Jason and his girlfriend were in town for the weekend and were running in the resolution race. Brandon and I were both planning on running but I decided not to because it was rainy and cold. Brandon, Josh and Josh's dad ran the 5K and Brandon took 3rd place! Whaooo... He ran through the finish line too fast I didn't even get a picture of it and I am still bummed about it.

Christmas Vacation

Brandon and my friends came from all over the place to spend a couple days with us in Utah. They all stayed the night over at my parents house and my mom made 2 loaves of bread into french toast for all of them for breakfast. YUM!
John, Jared (John's Brother), Brandon, Mom, Tommy, Beau and Tony was there but still sleeping.
Bryce looks so cute in this little snowsuit. We used to wear the same one when me and my sister's were little. I am so glad my mom keeps this stuff. Brandon and Bryce sledding across the street from my parents house at the new park.
This picture is worth 1000 words! For Christmas dinner my mom made a Thanksgiving feast. It was delicious and the presentation was amazing. It was one of those meals you wish would never end. I'm not sure she could top it.
This was Brandon and John's first snowman they have made. I told them to work on the base and I would work on the middle section. When my middle section was almost so large I could push it anymore I look over to see the progress the boys were making. They were packing snow on up to try to build their base. It made me laugh! I showed them how you make a snowball and then roll it around and it will get as big as you want it to. I think it looks great!

I love sledding. I think I could probably be a professional sledder.

Christmas Day

On Christmas day Brandon, John and I went sledding at Rock Canyon Park. We could all fit on one big toboggan so with me as the driver and the boys were on back and we flew down the hill. We had a blast, I just wish everyone else would have come with us.
Brandon took these pictures of my parents house. I love how my parents decorate for Christmas, it is so pretty and festive.

Koda cracks me up, every year he stands by his stocking until someone will help him open it. Doesn't he look so cute in his new sweater.

For Christmas my parents surprised me with a darling blue beach cruiser. I was not expecting it at all but was so excited. As soon as I got it back to 70 degree weather I have been riding it all over town. Thanks Mom and Dad, I really love it!

Christmas Eve

It's tradition every Christmas Eve my Grandma Grace gives the 13 girl grandchildren matching pj's. After we play games (that my Aunt Patti come up with, this year it was family trivia Jeopardy) and enjoy a nice dinner we open our gift and try on our new Christmas p.j.'s. Every year my Grandma hosts such a fun Christmas Eve party.
Here is Brandon and Jimmy enjoying college football bowl games after dinner.

This year my sisters and cousins decided to start a new tradition to make your own ugly Christmas sweater. We went to DI and bought some cheap sweaters to decorate for our Christmas Eve party. We only had about 35 mins. to make all of them and it was so fun to throw them together and not have any of them turn out the same. I love this new tradition and need to start looking for ideas for next year!

Oak Glen

We went to a small town near the pumpkin patch which in the fall it is covered with apple trees. We decided to drive up there because I didn't really believe that about an hour away from where we live there could really be snow. Sure enough there was snow and everybody up there pulled out whatever snow gear they had and was playing in it. At this little store they had homemade apple pie you could buy slice or take home a whole pie, apple cider and apple pie candy canes. We enjoyed the cider and the candy canes. I can't wait until we can go up there and hand pick our own apples off the trees.

Hatch Wedding

On December 6th my younger sister Becky got married in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. I arrived there the day before and stayed a few days after. Once again my Mom pulled off an amazing wedding reception! A few of my favorite things at their wedding were, the flowers were to die for; they had a 3 foot ice sculpture of the Eiffel Tower in the middle of the candy station and a very fun dance party. I wish I had picture to post but I was involved with the wedding chaos and forgot to take any. As soon as she gets them back from the photographer I will post some so everyone can see how amazing it was. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hatch!

Before I left we had time to make some homemade snickerdoodle's with Bryce and Lincoln.
