More Graduation Fun

Brody, Brandon & Garet. Hopefully one day we will be able to attend their college graduations.

Brandon kept saying he felt like Harry Potter wearing his robe. If only he could impress me with a magic trick. I really LOVE magic tricks!

Brody & Garet came early with me to save a entire row of seats for Brandon's extended family. It was a beautiful sunny California evening.

Here is Brandon with his red shades that match his red and gold graduation tie. It is his special occasion tie, my mom bought for him to wear when he graduated from BYU.

After the ceremony ended we went to one of Brandon's favorite Mexican restaurants called Green Onion.

Tracey & Mike ordered a beautiful and yummy cake and included me in on the graduation since I just completed my undergraduate degree!!!

Brandon's Master's Graduation

Over 3 years ago we moved to Southern California so Brandon could continue his education. He was accepted to California Baptist University in the Educational and Clinical Masters Psychology Program, which is in of the College of Education.

Brandon always worked full time in a high pressure/stressful environment while going to school. He also managed to fit in field work internship hours, each semester throughout the course of the program. Brandon excelled at the TOP of his class throughout the entire program and was admired and looked up to by all his professors and classmates.

On Friday evening, May 6th, 2011, Brandon graduated and received his diploma! He is the ONLY student in the history of that program to graduate a semester early and to have passed the State and National Board exams. I couldn't be more proud of him.

For both of us it has been a VERY hard and stressful 3 years which I am glad is now behind us. Here are the pictures from the exciting evening and weekend. (You know me, I don't just celebrate one day, it was the whole weekend!)

This happens to be the WORST & I mean WORST school song of ALL time. Seriously I could have come up with something better in 10 minutes. It doesn't even make sense and the music they put the lyrics to are HORRIBLE. I had to get a picture so I can get a chuckle each time I read the embarrassing words.

Brandon was called up on stage and given an award for the entire college of education. The amazing thing was NONE of us knew it until we saw the program at the graduation. What a AWESOME surprise. Check out the video so you can see Brandon accept his major award!

Easter Sunday

Happy Easter!

I hope I never get too old for the Easter Bunny to leave me & Brandon a basket!

For Easter dinner Steve and Elyse came over and Brandon made some delicious terryaki chicken and coconut rice. Very non traditional Easter dinner but it is one of my favorite things to eat.

Elyse and I made deviled eggs and chocolate pie for dessert. I love wearing an apron and be domestic. It is so fun and girly!
