Cliff Notes Update
School - I have been so busy since school started back up that I have neglected updating my blog (journal). As of mid January, I was able to get California residency which means I can attend school full time. I haven't taken a full load of school since before I was married, hence why I am still not graduated and have so much left. Now making money is taking the back seat and I am finally going to school full time and only working part time. Needless to say I am staying really busy with my new schedule and time is flying by. Here is the cliff notes version of the last few weeks.
January 21st - Happy BIRTHDAY Brooke 26 and Becky 21!!! I love birthday's even if its not mine. I wish I could have been with them to PARTY and eat birthday cake. Brooke celebrated in St. Louis and Becky at her new home in the bay area. Hope you both had a great day and dragged it out like I do into a birthday WEEK!
Pre-Superbowl Sunday (January 25th) - For some reason I had it in my mind that the 25th was the Superbowl. I invited my really good friend from Jr. High and High School, Nikki Ige, who lives and works in LA to come down for dinner and to watch the "superbowl". I was so excited to see her because it had been about 10 months since the last time we had hung out. Although the superbowl wasn't on, we ate a lot of yummy food and talked until she had to head back. It was great to see her and I can't wait to get together agian, hopefully a lot sooner than 10 months.
Superbowl Sunday (Feb. 1st)- the Walker's are so nice and invited Brandon and I over to watch the Superbowl with their family. Like any other "holiday" there was so much delicious food, snacks and desserts! We all wanted the Cardinals to win (I just wanted them to win because Brandon did and he only wanted them because there are Mormons on there team) and even though they didn't the fourth quarter was very action packed and ended up being a pretty good game. Thanks again to the Walkers for letting us come over, we had so much fun!
More Birthday's (Friday 6th) - Happy birthday Tracey! We hope you had a fabulous day and are excited to get together soon and celebrate!
Out with friends (Friday the 6th) - A darling couple in our ward, Andrew and Shannon Dixon, invited Brandon and I to go get sushi with them. After a great dinner we went back to their house and had chocolate fondue and played games until 2 in the morning. They have 4 cute kids, have been married 11 years and have a terrific relationship! They got us excited to have a family and be parents. The night went by so fast and we already want to go out with them again.
Date Night (Saturday 7th) - Brandon had to work for a few hours on Saturday so I was able to pick up the house, do some homework and go get Brandon's mom a birthday gift. It had been way too long since we had been to Mimi's Cafe, so we went and enjoyed so much yummy food. After we were stuffed we rented a movie (Nick & Norah's infinite play list) and watch it at home, although the movie was NOT good we had a very relaxing, fun evening together.

Gavin Macdonald
We are so excited for Brooke, Jimmy and Bryce on the new addition to their family. Brooke had Gavin Scott on February 3rd (of course) in the middle of the night at 1:30am. He is a chubby little guy weighing 8lbs 8oz. and 21 inches long. I am so excited to meet him and know it wont be soon enough.
Since their house is only 2 bedrooms they decided to clear out the closest in Brooke and Jimmy's bedroom and convert it into the babies nursery. Brooke is so creative, look at how cute she decorated his little space to make it feel like a baby's room. Honestly his "closet" is decorated way cuter than my bedroom.
