HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
Becky and John drove down to visit us for a short weekend trip and we had a blast! They got here late Friday night and we stayed up watching TV and talking. On Saturday which was V. Day our first stop of the day had to be Richies Diner. We love Richies breakfast and only go on special occasions. Brandon always gets "Linda's famous sweet potato pancakes" which taste like fall time and I always order the "ABC omelet" which is avocado, bacon and cheese. YUM, pretty much somes it up. The restaurant is always appropriately decorated from floor to ceiling.
Next we drove to Orange County and went shopping at South Coast Plaza. Brandon bought me a darling new purse and John got Becky some new keds. After we were all shopped out, the weather was nice out so we decided to tour around the back bay. The homes there are gorgeous, and while we were touring through one of the neighborhoods we saw some wild turkeys walking around which was pretty cool.
We picked up Brody, his girl friend and Garet and enjoyed some amazing pizza and salad. I could eat this pizza, but because of how much cheese is on each slice, i'd better not.
When we got back home Becky and I whipped up some valentine cupcakes. The pizza put John in a food coma so he didn't enjoy one until the next day.
