Over 2000 miles in a car!

Brandon had a job interview on March 18th just outside Jackson Hole Wyoming. So we decided to make the road trip together. Brandon had other job offers and so we thought we would check out those areas while we were at it. Brandon is now 4 for 4 on job interviews to job offers. After touring through many different areas and factoring in all things offered Brandon felt best about the small town job outside of Jackson Hole. It looks like we will be leaving the populated, warm, convenient life we lead in Southern California and heading for the country to live in a beautiful, cold and very small town place. We are excited for the new adventure ahead and know it will be a big adjustment!

Is this the most crazy archway ever. It is made out of antlers from different animals. I thought it was funny until I saw them all over the place.
Here is another antler bridge in Star Valley.
I guess I will go from PALM TREES to ANTLER BRIDGES.

This is a beautiful tabernacle building the Mormon pioneers built when they settled this area.

The Baker Cabin is the older house in Star Valley. It is 2 bedrooms and was built in 1889 by a Mom and her 12 year old daughter. I am so amazed when I see standing structures that exist from so long ago. I guess if they can build that house in the bitter cold with no real tools, I can survive here too, especially because I wont be farming!

After touring through more of Wyoming then I ever wanted to see and many other states we rounded up the herd (my entire family) and had them meet us for the weekend up in Lake Arrowhead California. Brandon's friend let us stay at her cabin and we couldn't have had more fun.

And a lot of Jimmer fan's rooting on BYU basketball. We all made Jimmer shirts for the big game unfortunately they lost in overtime.

We did all venture out into the cold to see the beautiful Lake in Arrowhead.

It snowed so much while we were up at the cabin we thought we might actually get snowed in. After a little cabin fever we thought we would go try to catch some rays down at Oceanside beach.

It was a little chilly but we all had a great time and did end up with sunburned noses.

Gavin! Avery was hiding out in the cupboard drinking her milk, just like Randy on "A Christmas Story"!

On Sunday everyone headed there separate ways home. This group was the last to leave so we had some really yummy hamburgers for lunch. I am really excited for the next phase of life to begin but it will be very hard for me to leave this place I consider HOME!
